Stab Wound Closure
PREPROCEDURE DIAGNOSIS: Stab wound, left posterolateral chest.
POST PROCEDURE DIAGNOSIS: Stab wound, left posterolateral chest.
PROCEDURE PERFORMED: Closure of stab wound.
ANESTHESIA: 1% lidocaine with epinephrine by local infiltration.
NARRATIVE: The wound was irrigated copiously with 500 mL of irrigation and closed in 1 layer with staples after locally anesthetizing with 1% lidocaine with epinephrine. The patient tolerated the procedure well without apparent complications.
